El ESCOBAR, S.C.L. is in the final straight to start up its Fruit and Vegetable Plant in the town of Mérida (Badajoz), which was refurbished after suffering a fire in August 2021 in which almost the entire building was practically ruined.

This situation has been faced by the Company as an opportunity that will allow them to continue advancing in an ecologically sustainable agribusiness through the use of materials and equipment that meet the standards of sustainability and environmental certification, as well as introducing in its production lines the latest generation 4.0 technology that will allow it to control and manage all the phases of the process, guaranteeing the traceability of all its productions, by means of an intelligent, sustainable and integrated growth of its products with an INVESTMENT of more than 22 million euros, a refrigerated storage capacity of 800 Tn/day and a transformation capacity of 700 Tn/day.
